1. Trade Activity Code

Ensure you select activity code #4799002 (Automatic Vending Machines Trading) or #4799003 (Retail Sale via Vending Machines). This grants legal entitlement to import, place, and sell packaged snacks, hot beverages, and chilled drinks.

2. Dubai Municipality Food Safety Department (DM Food Control)

Before dispensing food, your machines must be registered on the Food Watch portal. You must supply:

  • Calibration certificate for internal thermostat (keeping cold food < 4°C).
  • Supplier agreements with certified UAE food distributors.
  • Basic food hygiene training certificate for the refilling technician.

3. Opening a Corporate Bank Account in UAE

To receive card settlement funds from your Nayax / Pax cashless terminals (Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard, Nol), you require a UAE corporate bank account with local banks such as Wio Bank, Mashreq NeoBiz, or Emirates NBD.
